    Challenge
    Original rubber-sheathed cable, a rewireable fuse box and only two sockets per room in a house about to be redecorated throughout.
    Work completed
    Complete rewire staged floor by floor, new 18th-edition RCBO consumer unit, 42 additional socket outlets, LED lighting design and dedicated circuits for kitchen appliances.
    Outcome
    Fully certified installation delivered in nine working days with decorating-ready chases and zero damage to retained original features.

    Office lighting upgrade across two floors

    Cardiff Bay

    Challenge
    Ageing fluorescent fittings causing glare complaints, high energy draw and constant reactive maintenance callouts for a 60-desk office.
    Work completed
    Replacement suspended linear LED scheme with daylight and presence sensing, emergency lighting upgrade and full compliance testing, all completed across two weekends.
    Outcome
    Measurably better lighting levels at desk height, a substantial reduction in lighting load and no interruption to trading hours.

    7.4kW home EV charger with load management

    Penarth

    Challenge
    A tight main fuse rating, an existing electric shower and heat pump, and a 22-metre cable route from the board to the driveway.
    Work completed
    Supply capacity survey, load-managed charge point installation, ducted cable route under the driveway edge and a dedicated protected circuit.
    Outcome
    Overnight full charge without any risk of tripping the main supply, plus commissioning records and warranty registration handed over.

    Commercial consumer-unit replacement

    Challenge
    A retail unit failing its fixed wire test with an obsolete board, unlabelled circuits and no discrimination between protective devices.
    Work completed
    Out-of-hours distribution board replacement, full circuit identification and labelling, remedial works to three lighting circuits and a fresh EICR.
    Outcome
    A satisfactory condition report, clear documentation for the managing agent and a maintenance schedule to keep compliance on track.
