  • Safe, dedicated circuit

A charge point draws near-maximum current for hours. It needs its own correctly protected circuit — not a spur off a socket ring.

  • Load management built in

Dynamic load balancing prevents the charger from competing with showers, ovens and heat pumps for supply capacity.

  • Correct earthing protection

PEN fault protection is designed in, either within the charge point or by an earth-rod arrangement where needed.

  • Specified for your vehicle

There's no benefit paying for 22kW if your car accepts 7.4kW. We specify around the vehicle, not the sales sheet.

Compatibility

Will a charge point work at your property?

Three things decide it: your supply capacity, your earthing arrangement and the route from the board to the parking space. We check all three before quoting.

Vehicle compatibility

Universal Type 2 connections suit virtually every current EV and plug-in hybrid; we confirm your car's on-board charger rating first.

Supply capacity

Where the main fuse is tight, load-managed units throttle charging automatically instead of tripping the property.

Property type

Houses, flats with allocated bays, offices and industrial units all have different constraints — the survey covers yours.

Survey & installation

How an EV installation runs

Five stages, each confirmed with you before the next one starts.

  1. 1. Supply & capacity check

Main fuse rating, earthing arrangement and existing demand assessed before anything is quoted.

  2. 2. Route and position survey

Cable route, containment, drilling points and charge-point position agreed with you on site or from photos.

  3. 3. Fixed quotation

Charge point model, cable length, containment and any supply upgrade itemised in writing.

  4. 4. Installation day

Dedicated protected circuit, tidy containment, ducting where needed and commissioning of the unit.

  5. 5. Certification & handover

Electrical Installation Certificate, app setup, load-management configuration and warranty registration.
